Floor Pillows

Large_floor_pillows

My mother made these pillows at least two weeks ago and I had never taken a picture!  So here they are, on my den floor.  I had visions of buying foam and making cushions from scratch.  Then we were at Ikea and these 28" x 28" pillows were less than $10 a piece, so I ditched my grandiose plans quickly.   I do have a tutorial on pillows and on cording, so go for it.  I have found I like them very much, as they give me a place to lay down while Olivia plays.  Thank you, Mother.

Speaking of which, I shot these pictures on Sunday, but I had a little trouble.  Somebody couldn't stand not being in front of the camera.Olivia_series

So I shot some pictures of her, which satisfied her need to be photographed and then I could shoot the pillows.  And normally, I do keep her clothed, but she had been outside playing in a puddle.

Hi,

I stumbled upon your blog by chance, as I did a search for Yo Yo Makers, and saw your site. Read your blog, I just luuuurve the choice of fabrics to make your floor pillows, they are so beautifully made.
You have a talented mother:)

Your daughter is so adorable!

I am still a novice when it comes to using a sewing machine. Hubby bought me a Singer CE-100 with Embrodiery features sewing machine, and I have yet to master it...*sighs* still figuring it out on how to use it. hehe

I love making decorative pillows and stuffed toys, but have made them by hand.

With your permission, I would like to bookmark your blog.

God bless you and your loved ones!

Sincerely

Oh the pillows are lovely!!! So fresh and summery! The little one is too cute!

Those pillows are awesome. And I don't know if I left a comment about the chair, but it is fantastic too!

I can't tell you how many photos I have of my finished knitting posing with a stuffed cow. If my 3yo is around, she insists that Cow get in the act.

I love the pillows and Olivia is adorable. But, let's talk about the Golden Retriever Curly Lamb mix... I have a 7 year old Golden who would love to introduce himself. His picture is on my blog.

Great pillows! I have some big ones like that but mine are nowhere near as pretty. I did almost fall asleep on them on the floor while my little one was crawling on me though!

very nice pillows. the blue is very happt! As is the kid, in the puddle, out of the puddle...
