The Wall Street Journal posted an editorial on Wednesday-- "Pelosi's Toy Story" that blames Congress " which rushed through 'kid-friendly' crowd-pleaser legislation without considering the consequences."
On a related note, Target has started their sale on children's products. Let me make sure I understand-- I can get a great deal on various children's products right now. But do they become dangerous on February 10? Or perhaps they weren't dangerous to begin with? Hummm....
i can't even think about this. it give me a migraine.

This is my favorite comment I've found on this subject after that article.
"Okay, let me get this straight. There is great fear that children under the age of 12 will become sick if they lick their bike tires, or eat their books, or chew on an assortment of toys, or wear clothing. Yet it is perfectly fine if they breathe air laced with chemtrails, drink water contaminated by chemtrails, and eat foods likewise sprayed with toxic chemtrail mixtures. In addition, the United States is still importing food stuffs from China.
I see value in not allowing new products containing lead and other harmful chemicals, but let's be reasonable where used items are concerned. They should not be included in the ban."
